Is it any good though? In my watchlist - but a long film!

Give it a go, it’s not a bad film although at 2hrs it’s a bit of a bum numbing.

Based on true stories about the Norwegian resistance and one man in particular.
It's a little slow but so worth the time.

As a fan of the TV series I dint rate it, but as you say, harmless fun.

Also, Space Cowboy, that could be a spin off if they would actually make it.

It’s 2024, and I finally managed to watch Pirates of the Carrabean. All of them. The 4th one was a bit of a waste, I think.

Also watched Wicked. I hate movies that don’t come to a conclusion.

Reason being that they are making two Wicked films ….the studio didn’t want to try and squeeze the whole thing into one film.

No, the studio wanted to squeeze extra lots of revenue out of one story. Same as The Hobbit, the last Harry Potter, last Hunger Games etc. One of the women at work enjoyed the stage show, won't go to see the film because of this (it's making millions so they don't care but stretching a story is rarely a good move)

Think I lasted 30mis,terrible film.
How it gets 7.4 on IMDb is beyond me.

Civil War (Prime) - very graphic and violent, but not much of a storyline, felt like a sequel with no prequel.

Agree 100%. Worth watching for the history but the acting was really too bad.

Paid Amazon fourteen quid to watch Gladiator 2 and thoroughly enjoyed all 2.5 hours of it.

I'd recommend rewatching the first just to remind you who is related to who, as it took me a little bit to get it.

Both excellent 'good feeling entertainment' but the 1st just edges it.
