Fertilizer on golf shoes

I have just bought a new pair of Adidas Tour 360 4.0's and at my golf course they have just sprayed the greens with bluey/green fertilizer and it is on the side of my shoes =[ I have tried to wash it off with a cloth and water but with limited effect. Just wondering if anyone knows any methods to effectively remove this fertilizer from my shoes?
