Fencing advice

My dad has two rotten wooden fence posts that have snapped at ground level that I'm trying to replace. The problem is that they are concreted into the ground and the concrete forms part of the footings for a brick wall so I can't break it up. Any advice on how to get the posts out of the concrete?

The chunkiest wood drill bit you can find and decent eye protection.

If you can fit in a repair plate.

Find ones with hole in the middle that bolt down in to the old wood

or fit a repair spike

I use these until the remaining wood rots down (around 3-5 years) which is then easy to remove and concrete in a fence post spike
