Feet behind the tee markers?

Well you can have about 42mm of your ball in front of the line across the leading point of each tee marker 👍

Uum....Please explain. I always thought all of the ball had to be behind the markers, but I have no sound reason for my thought. Always like learning something new

I always envision an onion, comprised of several layers. A ball that touches a layer from outside the layer is considered inside. The layers on a golf course are the main onion, hazards, GUR, to name the primary ones. (There are doubtless some exceptions and I apologize for a lack of precision in my "rule.")

Understood thanks...and further clarification please. Is the back or front of the tee markers/pegs the tee ground boundary

The front. ie towards the green. The tee markers are wholly within the teeing ground.
