Favourite walk?

In 2000 we drove the coast roads highway 1 and 101 from Frisco to Crescent City. We sure did see some Redwoods.

In Oregon, Crater Lake highway(62) from Prospect to, yeah, Crater Lake was truly memorable.

We have a lovely circular walk from our front door that within minutes sees us in the town‘s medieval deer park. Then after crossing one road we are walking in the fields and water meadows of the R. Wey, which takes us to the beautifully located ruins of (the Cistercian) Waverley Abbey, then back by the North Downs Way into town, through the park and home.

Absolutely our favourite local walk…and from our front door.

i love the walk up the road to the Redan, via The Queens Head, Lord Raglan, The Crispin, The Rose, The Ship, The Leafy Elephant and lastly Sit & Sip before the scenic jorney ends at The Redan

A simple one, walk along the front at Whitley Bay, dip down the backstreets and loop back round.

A more adventurous but still flat one is a walk from just outside Brompton on Swale, along the river, through fields, woods, past nice houses and into Richmond, N.Yorks. That's probably the nicest, cake upon arrival in Richmond obviously to give energy for the return journey.

No hills, I don't do hills ?
I did this today 😊. In reverse though, starting in Richmond, up to Easby abbey, back to Richmond. Very happy.

I've picked out about 4 houses I want to buy over the route 😄
