You should have seen some of the kit I sold on his behalf( hes well into his 60s and non pc literate)
Ping slazenger Putter, a v v rare putter, the hour it went onto ebay I had emails bombarding me I said that it needed a clean up and was offerend more again if I didnt!" haha.
Half a dozen old sized golfballs including that little wilson (iirc) you can see in that picture above.

I went up to Kingsbarns to watch the Dunhill Links Championship in 2006 and watched Hugh Grant on the practice range and on the course. A very good golfer. Guessing he's off between 2 and 5. Here he is.

Jings, Gasp. You surprise me. He obviously doesn't play in many comps then because he's better than that. Hits a lovely ball. Certainly the best amateur I saw that day.

2 images spring to mind--
Darren Clarke on the 16th at the K Club with Woosie and Billy Foster,Clarkes caddie,just after Europe retained the Ryder Cup-to see the tears flow from all three was a highly emotional moment.

Secondly young Paddy harrington asking Padrraig Harrington if he could put ladybirds in the Claret Jug.

Cracker, Andy. I've only ever played this on the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 game on the PC but it's still a knee trembler! What must the pros be thinking when they play it for real?
