Now that Brendy has kindly enlightened us on how to post photographs, I thought this might be a good thread to have.
This is mine....

It's of Ben Hogan hitting a 1 iron into the 18th green at the 1950 US Open at Merion to secure his par to take Lloyd Mangrum and George Fazio to a play off. He went on to win.

That's right you read that correctly. A 1 IRON!!

I know i know, the abuse i have suffered because of that photo!!

No one ever mentions the ball sailing off into the distance . . . just those damn socks. You'll all be please to know that they went straight in the bin after the round ;o)

They were the only clean pair I had left on the holiday !!

My fave golf pic is Seve chiping in or perhaps putting at Lytham St Annes in the 1988 Open. The old guy behind him is on a wheelchair and the look on his face when it goes in is priceless.

GOLF MONTHLY GUYS ... DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOUR ARCHIVE LIBRARY?

One of my personal favourites. My pal, all 6'3" of him, in one of the Spectacle bunkers at Carnousite back in March last year. He got out...sort of !

As a member of the Golf Forum committee (think I got elected as handicap secretary for whinging when I got cut 1.5 shots for 38 points) I think we'd have to have a careful look at the attire of some of members before letting them into the clubhouse (are you reading this Junior!!!!!!)

Only kidding and good to see some of our members in the flesh so to speak

Atticus, My Uncle has a framed version of that, i was framed back in the late 70's early 80's if I remember rightly though There is some discussion that it was a 2 iron, I prefer to believe the 1 iron though as it soulds even better, a bit like Cos Rocca's 300 foot putt to take the British open into a play off back in 95 :D
Junior, Bottles of milk and a tube of sunscreen is all Im going to say! haha.
John, one word for your mate, SIDEWAYS!! haha.
Im not sure If ive posted this one here yet but basically, I was playing The Hilton Templepatrick on the day after the Ladies (Irish Open I think it was)finished. Wind was blowing a gale and I was playing against another fella of 3, I was of 4 and I was a shot behind him walking onto the 18th hole, lots of yards par 4 into the gale, hit an easy driver to lay up just in front of the lake, my opponent wasnt so long a hitter and had to take the layup patch of fairway up the right side. I knew he wasnt going to make a birdie so I had to let rip with the 5 wood.
One of the many reminders about the hazard

The view to the green for the second shot, 220 into the strong wind, I just didnt fancy my 4 wood so had to hit the 5 flush.

One of my better swings and a 10 yard draw back into the green and was left here, my opponent screwed up his pitch and took, I managed to leave my 1st putt on the lip and tapped in for a par, round of 74 and chuffed to bits due to the real lack of mistakes in one entire round in those conditions.

Atticus, Actually, I had a picture tucked away on photobucket from last year, he was thinking of selling it, I told him it was worth more to keep it than sell it as there are so many of them going about now.
