Another is, Sherwood Forest, when it's howling into you can't reach the fairway off the back tee as I found out one year in the Forester. And I busted my drive too.

amazing how different golf holes can play off the yellow/winter tees in comparison to the competition tees. when i played it, i hit driver into the greenside bunker!

Leven in my opinion is a much better and much harder last hole. Just needs a bit of a tidy up.

Always enjoyed getting to the 18th tee at Studley Wood, taking in the scenery from the high up tee however bad the round had been then launching one up the par 5 last, a decent drive leaving a chance to knock it on in two but with plenty of chance of knocking it in the water too!

Trump Links has a fantastic finishing hole. Elevated tee, great views and more bunkers than the Maginot Line.

I really enjoy the 18th at my own club when the back nine is the old nine (we are 3 loops of 9).
Par 5 with both a water hazard and OOB down the right and heavt rough, heather and gorse down the left. Not a narrow fairway by any means but a line of very tall fir trees down the tee, which is set back around 50 yards from the start of the fairway (yellows) and 110 yards (whites) makes for an interesting narrow looking corridor. Fairway slopes a little left to right and we have our own wee "swilcan" bridge about 100 yards from the green which is elevated with a wide fast flowing burn running across. Great finishing hole and played right a great opportunity for Eagle off the yellows, not so much off the whites but a good birdie chance.
I also really enjoyed the 18th at Millport, elevated tee set well back with a "where do I go" look about it with a burn running across it. It's not massively long but I enjoyed it.

Quite a daunting finishing hole,remember looking at the bunkers and wondering how I would avoid them,think I went for p/w to lay up behind the bunkers instead of playing a wood,my son was on the left hand side of the fairway and saw he had a wood out, I thought that was a very risky shoot to take on but he played a good shoot over the bunkers and finished up with a par. Great hole .

Quite like an 18th that gives you a chance but will kick you in the nuts if you blow it.

From memory the 18th at Abergele was a decent finishing hole.

My own course is good, par 5, needs a long drive with a bit of roll to set up a chance of going for the green in two but even then if the second strays off line or is a little short you can be in all sorts of trouble.

Don't disagree about Blackmoor - great hole. I think Goodwood finish is a big letdown (as is 1 and 17 - should all be over the road). Camberley. Hankley and Woodhall are great finishing holes
