No that usually the 16th. Par 5 finish is the way they play the Open. OOB all down the right. very good hole
Yeah just had a quick peek at the planner

finishing holes i don't think are that great are Woodhall Spa, Hankley and Camberley Heath.
I cannot agree with this as Hankley is one of my favourite 18th holes I have ever played. I also like the 18th at West Sussex and dare I say it, the Belfry! West Hill also has an excellent finishing hole.
Moortown.
Royal Lytham.
The Old Course.
The Castle course.
.
As a short hitter I agree. My reason for not thinking Hankley is a great hole is that i didnt think it was fair for shorter hitters.
It literally gives them no chance of getting on in two so i basically a par 5.
Im not saying it was a bad hole at all. Just not wowed by it.
Blackmoor
Burnham and Berrow
Hoylake

Gleneagles Kings.
Had a couple birdies on the holeI like Blackmoor too, played it twice, parred it twice.

Think everything about the hole is great , elevated tee , big rolling fairway , danger right by the green and the best green on the course
