Favourite cartoon series

The Ha-Hoos and Tittifers are very odd things.

Made by the makers of Teletubbies, I really don't know how something so strange fully grabs the attention of very young kids.

My two love it.

It instantly brings peace upon the house regardless how much teething is happening.

It does help with speech improvement i have found. All the characters names have about 5 syllables each and my pronouncing them correctly takes some doing for a 3 year old.

For me i will have to say

Ren and Stimpy
Johnny Bravo
Cities of Gold
M.A.S.K
The Simpsons has to get a mention (though the latest ones are as depressing as the newer series of Rab C Nesbitt)
The Musketeers

I do enjoy watching Ben and Holly's Magic Kingdom too. Nanny Plumb is a right sarky get. Really funny at times.

As a kid, Road Runner and Tom and Jerry as both were just insanely anarchic and can still get me laughing from start to finish.

These days there are few good cartoons, The Simpsons should have been culled about 5 years ago. Futurama has finished, Family Guy has had one or two comebacks too many. All greats in their time but just lost their shine now.

Imurg used to have a thing for Betty Rubble :)

Best cartoon cameo for me was the 3 second clip at the end of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Arrrrg Arrrrrg :)

also loved Ivor The Engine as a little nipper

What about these newfangled Chinese cartoons?

Recently rewatched Dexters Lab, great! The movie was good too.

Early Simpsons are also hard to beat.

Way back when Rugrats topped the TV watching along with the first few series of Pokemon, some of the early movies were good too. It went rubbish for a bit but XY and the related movie were both much better!

Now it's Paw Patrol, Puffin Rock and Bubble Guppies that keep the baby boy happy.

Was battle of the planets not dubbed ultra voilent Japanese manga. The bits where they cut away to the robot narrator was where they cut out the extreme violence then used the narrator to fill in the plot gaps

Sort of.
