Favourite Car - that you've owned

First true love was my Blue Mondeo ST200. 06 plate

Traded that for my BMW e60 550i which had a 370 bhp 4.8ltr V8. It was a monster on the motorway

Recently though I’ve got a new Audi S5 sportback. That will take some beating for me. It’s loveky inside not to me mention blisteringly fast.

Sounds lovely and grips like the preverbial in the bends.

As I've got so many memories of my old Dad floating around in my head presently...
I'll go with my first car... A Ford Anglia...
Which Dad re-sprayed Jaguar Regal Red and helped me fit a Cortina GT engine in...
Or, rather I helped him... Happy days...

Ask me another week and it'll be something else...

I'd have to say my current one which I just love - had it 2 weeks and think I've cleaned it 3 times:

Then I've probably said that about my previous 3 MX5's and prior to that my MGTF and prior to that my MGF. I like a 2 seater :-)

Favourite car - 1966 Mustang Fastback
Most fun car - 2005 Subaru Imprezza STI PPP
most useful car - 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee - winters.. .literally no problem.
can also get 4 sets of clubs and trollies and 4 people in the car!

Most disappointing car -my AC Cobra Replica, built by me in 1998-2000
this was my dream car from a child.. so I built one, 350cu performance chrevrolet engine,
a beautiful car to look at, horrendous car to drive really :(
dream shattered :(
I swapped this for the Mustang

Didn't realise about pictures.... Say a thousand words allegedly!!

TOYOTA-COROLLA-AE82-TWINCAM-For-Sale-1986-1.jpg

Just loved this little beast.. Toyota Corolla GT
Only a 1.6 but with 16v and a twin cam it moved fast enough to take most other hot hatches back then.
Made a great noise and the engine begged to be revved - redline was about 8500rpm...
Really wanted the rear wheel drive coupe version but they were a bit on the twitchy side of hair raising!

Currently feeling the love for my lowered, modded BMW Z4 3.0Si. Stupidly quick, extremely loud, open top motoring, and cheap as chips. Auto too, and Sport mode is mental. Love it.

Way faster than Mrs Mogs Z3M coupe, with Rooters 321 horses.

It gets washed and polished tomorrow.

My Z car is fun, but perhaps not the perfect car for a Turnberry golf road trip.

Like the look of the new Alpine A110 or perhaps an Alfa Giulia Q.V.

You won't believe me but mine was an MG Maestro EFi (BRG)

2Q==

It outgunned the VW Golf GTIs of the time.

Mx5 Nc with bbr 180bhp upgrade knocking out 190bhp and almost flat torque from 2000-7000rpm.
Next job wheel and tyre upgrade, new bushes, springs and dampers. Dunno when though.
Had it from new :)
