The Killers are definately up there along with Oasis and probably Mumford and Sons... I realise that this is a bit "new agey" for some of you old fogeys but I do respect the classics as well Thin Lizzy and THE HORSLIPS that's a good shout if you've never heard of them look em up

Simple Minds pre '85 Don't You era. Propaganda (in the Trevor Horn days). The Black Crowes. In fact one thing they have in common are that their live shows were excellent. Better than the records more often than not.
