Looks like my red ensemble will have to come out of the bag for the 7th. I was thinking more Tiger on a Sunday than any football affiliation.

Now that just leaves, blue, yellow, green, white, black, purple or burgundy

I always wear red to play in, oops, sorry mate, + I support Spurs!

Pink, No thanks.

Black gloves, the reason? Look odd, J B Holmes wears one, no point.

or burgundy

God, that takes me back to when I was 13, and the fashionable colour for blokes was burgundy!

Must admit though, I tend to be more 'colourful' than in day to day life out on the golf course. Goes bck to the nightclub mgt days of loud ties.

It is starting to look a little lime though. GG lime ss shirt, GG lime goretex jacket, lime trim on the GoKart, and now, lime trim on the new Footjoys. But at least the trousers are black.

You tend to find white gloves on snooker refs, body cavity searchers, undertakers, people with skin infections and waiters,oh and Michael jackson too,(he has an extensive glove wardrobe)that said, I have both so I must be Bi-sensible. ;)

I am not one to keep up with the Joneses/latest releases with equipment, they only really get replaced when worn out.

Clothes are another thing, I do like to pick up a new item quite regularly.

I usually wear darks (under armour stuff), however, the missus has only just today presented me with a bright yellow Cutter&Buck windcheater. I have tried it on and have to say, I can make a full swing AND it looks kind of fashionable.
Am I due an appearance on Jerry Springer?
Great thing was it was 6.75 on ebay brand new with tags and came from the good old USA where it would have cost $50. HID never really buys me anything golfy as she sees herself as a golf widow so this was certainly unexpected and will get its first airing tomorrow am.

I'm a big fan of cutter & buck since getting a two for the price of one on their jumpers in the Silvermere sale. Good quality. I think that top looks pretty good and if it does the job (particularly in the wind) who cares how much HID paid

I'm looking for a nice pair of chinos or plain (ie not Ian Poulter looky likies) trousers in a "sand" colour...as opposed to the usual stone/beige. Can't bloody find any anywhere.
Has anybody seen some on their travels?

I dress soberly on the course, mainly blacks and dark blues. I don't particularly wish to draw attention to myself just in case anybody watches me and sees how crap I play!

Have a few Ping shirts in black and blue. Trousers are black or blue chinos from the likes of Primark.

Jumpers, looked at buying Ashworth or Nike but couldn't part with £40 for a a lambswool number. Bought a nice black one the other week from Asda (£6).

What makes me laugh with tops. Does anyone else make a practise swing whenever they try a golf top on?

lol Yes! It sort of comes naturally, I have to make sure it looks and feels right. I should think most people will do thinking about it...which I never have before. It's quite interesting though.

Latterly I haven't been wearing gloves, when I do they're black. Why? Because as with the shaft on the Wilson, white is too distracting.

and have you noticed how white shoes can make women's feet look big?

Ive had the same old bag for ages which is gonna be replaced, 1, because its a little uncomfortable
2, the zips broken on the big pocket. I have had the same load of golf shirts for ages, i think i need to buy some new stuff as mine is getting tatty, serves me right for missing the fairway, too many thorn bushes have been making friends with my wooly jumper!
