I've played with Jezz and Mike H which I guess must be the golfing pinnacle. Actually I've been quite lucky over the years. James Bolam and Dan Maskell (BBC tennis commentator) were members at Wimbledon Common so I played with them regularly. James Hunt and Hywel Bennett (actor who played Shelly in the 80's comedy) joined me as green fees when I wandered out to play one evening.

In pro ams I've played with Bernard Cribbins and Godfrey Evans (former England wicketkeeper) and caddied for Ronnie Corbett. The comedian Tom O'Connor is a member at Royal Ascot and so I've been able to play several rounds with him

I played in a pro-am once and was due to be in a group with Gordon Banks.... He never turned up!

Never really played golf with anyone famous.
Most likely candidate is a snooker player called Tom Ford, but I'd be surprised if anyone on here has heard of him.

Had a short lesson from Bernhard Langer during a very early practice at the Glasgow Classic Tournament, held at Haggs Castle during early 80`s. Was working at the event. He was out practising long before the other pros, and if my memory serves me right I`m sure he went on to win it.

Played with Philip Glenister last year. We have an annual match V the Stage Golf Society played over a weekend in June. Very handy off his h`cap.
