how about taking a leaf blower out on the course with you?
how about taking a leaf blower out on the course with you?
Especially when sung by Eva
Once upon a time there was a famous golfer called Chicken Licken. One day Chicken Licken was playing golf with Henny Penny when a leaf fell and hit Chicken Licken on the head. OMG said Chicken Licken, the sky is falling down. Henny Penny, being a wise old Coot said, "don't be a silly old fool. It's been happening since trees were born. Anyway, we better get finished a bit sharpish. The nights are drawing in and the clocks will be changing soon."
Don't mention the clocks changing!
Just think of all the extra darkness you'll be getting this winterOMG! Do you think he'll see it? (Big winky smiley)![]()

Thankyou Bob, for sharing that - it reminded me of what a great talent we've lost. Such a wonderful voice that I could listen to all day.

Always brings a tear to my eye.
Thanks to the late Paul Walters and Sir Terry for introducing us to such a wonderful talent. Without them, most of us might never have experienced her magic.
RIP Paul, Terry and Eva.
I can sympathize with delc here. Leaves on the golf course are annoying. Especially when they are lying on the fairway and you can lose even a well hit ball due to them. When I hit a bad shot and my ball is lost in thick rough or undergrowth, so be it, but losing a ball after a good shot is just not fair. Our greenkeepers do their best to rake or blow the leaves off as often as possible, but at this time of the year that's a bit of a Sysyphus task. But it could be worse. At least it is not snowing yet.
