I love looking those kinda of builds, the amount of time and skill that goes into it is tremendous.
I've done a few makeovers in my time though nothing that could be considered to be in the same league as that.
My wrx was very plain looking when I bought it and decided it needed sprucing up.
How it looked at castle Stuart.

And now, just refitted the freshly sprayed spoiler.

I used to be a bit of a car nut - but just can't afford any of that stuff now.

Cracking builds, have a real soft spot for smooth low Golfs, but the fords - well thats just another story.
When I got my test I had a run in a RS Turbo, and LOVED the boost. After that one of my mates got an XR3I in red and I feckin hated him. I was sooo jelous. That same fella now has a pristine Sierra Cossie.

Some nice machines indeed guys..

Love the colour of the cosworth tho i would put the original 16inch rims back on.. I know there is a limited number of 17inch ones made.. I set of them would be even better..

Here's a pic of my cab never had it out this year shame :(

Aaaah, my pet hate. Black plates on cars younger than 1973.

Indescribably naff.

If you have ever run older cars, which have black plates, to see them on modern shopping trolley tat is just annoying.

Hanging is an insufficient penalty.

My wife went from and to in this order:

Nissan Micra

Honda MX 5

Lotus Elise

Cooper - s

Toyota IQ

I think that is from the ridiculous to the sublime back to the ridiculous in a few easy moves! Actually the Toyota IQ is awesome and really funky - or am I just getting old?

Couldn't agree more! Historic tax is great too! :)

I cant mate cus its got 15in brake disks up fron with AP 6 pots on so standard wheels wont fit. Got a nice set of group A 18" oz racing monte wheels coming so it should all look very original which is the aim.

here's a few pics of my escort cossie. Spent the last 3 years doing a full nut and bolt restoration on it. New engine built
to 514 bhp (on engine dyno).

This was before the resto...

I hope you have changed the rear O/S tyre. It is the wrong way round.

Super Cossie lad. What's all the red and blue nozzles in the engine for?

Thanks mate, they're Aeroquip high pressure/temp hose fittings for oil, water and vacuum hoses
I'm not mechanical, what does that do for performance?

Basically standard hose and fittings are no longer up to the job mate. This is a touring car spec engine built to over 500 horspower and standard stuff would either melt, burst or perish under massive temps and pressures. :D
