It is going to be spectacular, especially the 17th hole where the green is on one side of a gulley cut into the cliff face and the tee sits on the other side 3 iron usually into the wind! Bring a large bag of balls - there is NO bail out area.

Will definitely give it a go. I see you can combine that and the Old Course on the pre-booking scheme now.

You can't beat the views over the links with the low shadows. Spectacular.

Love the Jubilee course especially the 12th can take 4 just to reach the green if the wind is against you and the green must be 40 yards front to back.
I'm sure you will all love it have a good game.

played jub yesterday ,greens r superb ..
local tips..get pin sheet from starter,if pin up left on 7th ,keep below hole, par 3 -9th,don`t miss gren on right!,17th green always a little slower than rest ...apart from that it `s a doddle!! enjoy ur game ...cheers

This has been a very interesting thread, we obviously want our courses to be as natural as possible with as much personality as possible. The best way of getting personality is to support the natural surroundings. The Jubilee course is a prime example of excellent greenkeeping by keeping it as natural as possible. Tommy you are an ambassador to greenkeeping, I hope to see you in Harrogate and I will make myself known.
