John, took a couple of tries to get it to run right through but worth it in the end.

Yes is was that tough and that much fun, absolutely glorious.

Glad you got to see it, Steve.

It was a grand trip. It's on YouTube now anyway as my featured vid in my signature. It's searchable, too, under any of the tags containing the words Golf, Monthly, Forum, England, Scotland, Goswick or any combination of that lot...so you can show your friends your weirdo forum pals.

Hoping you're gonna let us see some of your own photos...or did you not get the lens cover off after all? And most impressed with your post in the sticky thread. Nearly brought a tear to my eye, sir.

Oh, and now that I've actually met you in the flesh I thank God you did live up to my expectations . With your forum name being what it is I had always envisioned you wearing a crown.... and with the England bunnet on you do have the look of the Lionheart about you. God bless you for that!

Got a problem with the photos at the moment, John. I can see them all in the camera but the PC can't for some reason.

I'll try a new card reader tomorrow, and alternatively see if I can get them taken off onto a CD and transfer from there.

I've a full set (excepting me) of first day tee shots (not the results), a few in the club but little out on course - just too unwieldly when 'trying' to play as well.

A non-playing photographer is what's needed.

And next time, I may just bring the coronet (and maybe some sippin' likker!)

Some excellent action photos, Steve. And you actually got one of Ivan smiling. I take it you bribed him! Or was it just after he'd been told he was playing Fraser and Dave again?
