How do you condense 2 days of golf, banter, competition and the finest of company into 4 minutes?..... You can't....but I've tried. So here it is in full in it's full glory.

Makes me want another game with you guys tomorrow. I hope I've captured the spirit of the occasion.

Download it if you want, though it may take a while....

Enjoy.

:D :D :D

Is it on you tube john? my phone won't let me view that one! Don't think I can wait for tonight to see it :D

Thats an excellent video!!!

I hope there is another event like this later this year or next as i'd love to be involved.

One question, who's ping bag & clubs is it at the end? I wouldve thought you'd like to gloat and have a picture of the Scots with a huge flag or something, not someone's clubs! lol

I can't open it either John. :D

Great video, looks like you all had a top time. Gutted the england team lost.

Don't be gutted. Although we all wanted to win, and this isn't because we lost.... The result wasn't what this was all about. Yes we were disappointed but the better team won over the two days
The experience was everything for me.

To be fair I didn't expect a result from us. No disrespect to any of theengland guys but the course favoured the scots and I think the weather on day 2 did too. I am more than happy with the way this turned out, I hope to do it again soon.

Put the flag in Dave! :D

Ok chaps. Sorry.

Hopefully getting it sorted for those who can't see the vid in the link above. I've uploaded it to YouTube now. It may be a few hours before it's viewable but here's the link;-

The quality on YouTube is never quite so good as on my MobileMe Gallery. Don't know why some can't see it and some can. It might be connection speed related.

You can always try this link and just scroll down to the Movies to find it. It's in small, medium and large format so should be viewable on an iPhone now, Tony. You can download it, too, to save the need for any buffering when you watch it ;-

Have to say I was meant to be going to the pub last night but I was shattered, both physically (and mentally) so had a quiet night in with my girlfriend and our favourite Chinese takeaway menu. Oh, the rather nice bottle of Graham's port I won for the nearest the pin yesterday has mysteriously evaporated. How does that happen? FAR too nice.

After a wee 3 hour "nap" I thought I'd try my hand at the video and, before I knew it, it had turned 3am! My body clock is gonna be out for days!

I'm gonna post my version of the trip on the other post. Absolutely brilliant two days (and a cracking night) in the best of company. Thanks lads. Really. I mean it from the heart. These trips make life worth living and I simply couldn't ask to have spent it in better company.

Think I looked forward to this one just a little bit too much.... given the nervousness on the first two holes! Shaking...moi?

THAT IS SIMPLY BRILLIANT.

I thought I'd give the forum a miss this morning, but surprise, surprise, a legendary effort from the legendary J_F.

Well done. It was emotional just watching. Good for you all.

Great vijo J_F but did you have to add the pic of that golf bag at the end.....??????????????????

Health and Safety dictates if you are playing golf near a railway line you must be highly visable now you don't get any more HIGH VIS than that.

Very good video John, looks like an excellent trip well enjoyed by all in the spirit it was meant. The course looked to be in difficult but enjoyable condition with more than a little rough lining the fairways, the way its supposed to be played. I cant wait to get something organised for over here this year at some point.

Superb John, captured the moments very well indeed.

I am just back from 18 with IM02 in which we paired up and managed to take our opponents to the cleaners! We were also playing in a club comp and he and I were level pegging going into the 16th but IM02 finished with 38pts while I limped home for 34pts....I am blaming the organising stress taking it's toll on me and not the fact that my fitness showed after 3 tough rounds and a good drinking session in as many days!! :D

Clubs will be put away now as I am golfed oot! ;)

Dodger, how you and Ivan play around Goswick in those scores is phenomenal. I'd have loved to have seen you play, mate. And thanks again for it all. TOP notch.

Andy, I had to get the bag in! Say no more. I could blame it for my blurred vision on the first tee but I won't. The colour is still burned into the back of my eyes though so a writ may be coming your way soon.

Mike, no problem with linking the video. I've already stolen the music and the photos !

Oh, and guys, I've now uploaded all the photos I've got and the individual snippets of video to my MobileMe gallery, too, so if you want to look at them or download them then feel free. Again, here's the link. It's under GM at Goswick Links;-
