Gordon got into the handicap knockout although he wasn't too pleased about it.

I scored a lot better today with a gross 87 including a 10 (more bunker trouble) but 37 points stableford so bang on my handicap.

I am off to try my luck on the Old course, so have to be queuing before 3am if I am to stand a chance of getting on.

Well I did enjoy the Old Course yesterday and my 2nd to the 18th was a thing to behold, shame it was raining so there was not the usual gallery watching.

Gordon is in the last 8 of the Tankard following a win at the 20th this morning.

Thanks for all the support everyone but to be honest I just didn't play well enough today. I was fortunate to get through this morning and didn't deserve to win this afternoon. My putting deserted me even though I made 13 birdies in 3 rounds I should have made a whole lot more and I didn't hole the important ones.

Never mind, it's been fun and it means I can use the tee time I've got booked on the Castle course tomorrow afternoon

Looking forward to our Stableford on the Jubilee in the morning, it has been a great week, even though I have not been at my best golf wise
