eBay Advice- sending to Jersey

Hi,

Sold a little item on eBay and put the usual £2.85 postage for MyHermes. All fine until someone from Jersey won the auction. MyHermes don't deliver there.

To send this tiny parcel there would cost the same as I sold the item for.

Any advice?

Check all possible postage costs next time, before throwing in the jersey

Have you checked what the post office charge?

According to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_dependencies the Channel, Islands, "Being independently administered jurisdictions, they do not form part of the United Kingdom" It is likely that you listed the item as delivered in the United Kingdom so it would be reasonable to ask the buyer for the additional postage.

That's a game changer from MiB. Being in Jersey they will be used to this. We ship to a company on the Isle of Man and they know that being there means a premium in shipping terms.
