Easter mini break

Wife and me will be celebrating our 20th anniversary next year so planning a little mini break somewhere around the easter hols. Need somewhere not too expensive but with places to go and visit. Currently thinking Barcelona, Rome, Madrid kind of thing. Any suggestions/advice?

Barcelona in lovely. Lots to see and do, quality place. That would be my choice.

Nice is very pleasant, lots to do in surrounding towns and villages but the weather can be a bit hit and miss at that time. Possibly too early in the year for there.

Prague is also worth thinking about. Very nice, also compact.

Been to both Rome and Venice in the last year or so, much preferred Venice for a quiet romantic break if I'm honest. Lisbon is another lovely place.

Been to a fair few cities around Europe, Rome was my favourite. Loads to do and I can recommend a lovely apart-hotel.

You might have to look more towards Southern Europe. Venice is my favourite but often wet, no pun intended, until May/June. It receives more rain than London! Rome can be a bit damp too. No to Paris. Barca, a maybe. Madrid was freezing this year in April.

How about Seville? Granada may well still have snow, or will be wet and cold = it was 2*C when we were there on Tuesday morning. Lisbon?? Not been but its on the list.

Madrid is my fav city in Europe Paul, and i get around a lot!!!

Some other suggestions, Prague, Budapest, Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo, these are some of my other fav places.
