Druids Golf

On a slightly different point, can anyone give any advice on sizing? I am close to pressing the button on my first Druids order, but don't want to stumble into the returns scenario mentioned earlier!

I have several Under Armour polos and mid layers in large, albeit labelled as loose fit. I also have a few from Penguin, Ping and Oakley in large which fit fine.

As UA is a common item of golfing apparel, can anyone who has both UA and Druids gear comment on how the sizing compares? I do have a couple of polos from other manufacturers which are a slightly smaller large :) where an XL would be a better fit.

Many thanks.
I have a Druids polo and hoodie in size large. They are comparable to my UA polo and mid layer. I like a loose fit, I'm not an athletic fit person 🫣, and I find UA and Druids work nicely on that front.

These guys can seriously do one now. Just received a refund in form of a credit note

Thats not what's agreed.

The fight continues

If it wasn’t so insulting and infuriating, it would be funny.

Surely the guy who runs this operation must’ve be kicked off The Apprentice in the first week.

The returns policy looks like one worse than Fat Ashley’s.

Absolute joke of an organisation.

It does seem very very sports direct type policies.they have your money and keep it as long as possible

They now claiming it might be best for me to have a credit note (even tho I have stated I won't buy from them again) and they have said but it might take a while to refund your credit card as there is a few waiting to be done

Funny that other companies manage , and you promised last week not only to do so but to do it on the day it arrives to speed it up ..

Proper two bob outfit

Trust pilot all the 1 star reviews are full of their refunds doing this , shame I didn't see before

I have many many UA and Druids polos, all in medium and I'd say they're exactly the same size. Both slightly generous and stretchy.

Not forgetting that when you do use the credit voucher, you’ll be charged for postage again 😂😂😂

That's why originally they offered me 10% off store wide as it would make it almost the same but as I've learned they are a company who are fine to deal with when it goes well but soon as it goes wrong they will do anything possible to avoid giving you your money back.

Rip enough people returning products off of their rights for refund on postage hoping that people either don't know or can't be bothered to case them. Shoddy way to do business, be honest and people will flock back

@Jensen they really are Micky takers. Woken up to an email that is full of apologies for the oversight then goes on to waffle

"Also, just for the clarification kindly note that the shipping cost is non-refundable. We only issue a refund for the items returned, and the actual amount of those items. We can only refund the return postage cost if the item sent is wrong/incorrect size/incorrect color, only in these cases we are able to refund return shipping cost if we are at fault, and we did that already just to let you know."

So I have sent them a link to the consumer rights act of 2015 for their reading and highlighted the bits they need

@Jensen

Seriously getting beyond a joke now

"
Hi Paul,

I just wanted to clarify our policy regarding shipping costs.

Please note that the original shipping cost is non-refundable, as we only issue refunds for the actual amount of the returned items. However, we do cover return postage costs in cases where an incorrect item, size, or color was sent due to our error—which we have already done in this instance.

I completely understand your concern, and I truly appreciate your understanding. If there’s anything else I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best regards,

Team Druids

Team Druids"

So I've again highlighted the law

And started a charge back via my credit card.

I'm seriously starting to wonder how many people they have illegally taken money from with illegal business practice hiding behind terms and conditions that aren't legally binding and people don't know their rights and get swindled by this two bob outfit.

Interestingly I've just been through their terms and conditions, no mention of no refund of postage ... So where's that then

Look after your customers and your business will look after itself.
Imagine the business they would generate with a little customer care. It seems such a short sighted way to operate, especially if you want to be in it long term

After a lot of back and fourth I may (prob not) have got somewhere

They went back to the same comment of because it's successful delivery for 1 it's not covered

So I again outlined that no both items were either wrong or incorrect sent etc and suddenly it's oh I'll email my manager rather than computer says no

Did mention that the terms says nothing about delivery charge so that stopped being mentioned

My fav email was this afternoon where they sent a pic of a message they sent me last week where they told me their policy ( which I had pointed out afters is incorrect and illegal) and that they have resolved the issue. No you haven't .. nice try

When you get it sorted, make sure you sit quietly in a dark room, your blood pressure must be off the scale.🤪

Definitely lol they have now refunded the postage. Well the difference between the refund of return postage and the delivery postage.

So I've got no extra just exactly what the I'm entitled to.

Horrible company when things don't work out .. shouldn't be this hard to get money back

After bashing them for a few days I will give them a bit of praise

They contacted me to say they had refunded the full amount they could but wanted to give me the £2.99 postage for the return . Would I accept 10% off. I politely refused, I won't be buying again

So they have (with my permission) refunded off a previous order so I have the full amount possible and I'm not out of pocket

Didn't expect that

Well done

After receiving some advice on sizing from members on here, I placed an order which arrived (very promptly) today. Well pleased with the quality and sizing, so shall definitely be ordering some more stuff in due course. I just bought the players bundle (polo, shorts, cap) plus a discounted polo shirt, as a bit of a tester.

I am impressed. will see how it stands up to washing but it does feel nice and looks well made.
