Druids Golf

Resurrecting this thread. Has anyone bought polos from Druids recently? If so, what was the quality like?

I like a few of their designs (Pineapple Skullz 2.0, I'm looking at you!) but the price almost seems to fall in to the "too good to be true" category.

We got them for our scratch team a couple years ago

Mine lasted a couple of games - found them awful

But the ones that the mud HC teams got seem a lot better

We got the “ honey comb” tops

There quality isn’t up with others but then that’s why they are cheaper than others

What do you mean by "lasted a couple of games"?

Did it fail in some way or did you just stop wearing it?

First the metal badge on the arm came off on one side

Then holes started to appear near the Druids badge on the back

Then one of the buttons came off

And finally the stitching under the arm pit came away

The mid layer is still around but it’s like cardboard

He has been telling this story for about 5 years though - similar to the early one I got that wasn't very good - they have moved on in quality since then.
Well, I'll soon find out as I had pressed the button before Phil replied.

If they're sketchy I will send them back.

I will point out here though that I have had two FJ polos (each over £60) have issues with seams splitting and losing of a button. Granted not in two games but certainly over the course of a summer.

In fact, I think the only polos that I don't think I've had any issues at all with are my J.Lindeberg ones, but then they do feel much thicker than all of my other polos.

We got them Jan 2023

They are cheap and they fill a spot in the market

As with most sporting gear there will always be a cheaper alternative

The quality will always be hit and miss

Not my cup of tea but I know lots who swear by the stuff, dad included. Very easy and price friendly birthdays and Christmas!

I just get brassed off by the constant bombardment of their emails and texts every day. Also their pricing varies all the time and you could buy a shirt one day at "best ever price" and find the same one cheaper a few days later. Prices just seem to go up and down all the time

Ever heard of ‘unsubscribe now’? 🤪

Strangely enough I have. The first time I pressed the unsubscribe button it failed to stop them from keeping me subscribed . I ended up sending them a message that I didn't want a daily bunch of texts and emails and that i would complain if they didn't unsubscribe me. however, I don't dislike their products and have bought stuff since, but I'm now back in the bombardment again !

I ordered 3 polo's I quiet liked on a punt, after hearing about the size issues others have mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived yesterday and were all the same size and fit really well, quality seems ok but I have only tried them on I can't compare as others have to premium (designer) brands as I don't own any.

I’ve found the clothing from Druids to be decent.
The problem I’ve experienced is with their sizing, I’ve had to send things back twice. For this reason I won’t buy from them again, which is a shame as the quality is OK

Bizarrely, both. The midlayers were too big and the shirts too small 🤔

No confidence in them

I agree, however, their returns process is fairly simple.

I'm a 32 waist in their joggers and buy them every now and again just to boost my ego, because last time I was a 32 waist was when I was about 12.

Since I lost a bit of weight I have been getting some bits off druids to tied me over until I get a stable size again

So got a jacket. Seems ok

Got 2 pairs of their trousers off eBay for £37 now that was a good price. However noticed "do not tumble dry" which is annoying. I had already ordered 2 pairs of shorts from them , so checked they said "tumble dry low on website" phew

They have arrived, "do not tumble" and one pair of shorts isn't the pair I ordered (different style)

£6 delivery and £3 return so £9 for one incorrect item and one not as advertised

Have to admit put me off a bit

Back to eBay found 2 pairs of under armour ones which I know are good quality for only £10 more

Will stick to the brands I know in future
