Where about's in Medway you collecting from I can tell you where to avoid locally traffic wise and where not to stop to long so you have wheels to drive home on!!!

Cheers Fader, it's Wigmore? Any spots to avoid there?

Bill, the colour and spec I wanted was not widely available. I don't mind the distance for the right car.

Wigmores alright pretty Accesible from the A2/M2 exit as well for your travel. There's also a couple of places to eat I'd recommend either the Spyglass pub or the Queens Head harvester around there, there's also a Sainsbury small shopping centre at the same exit for fuel and provisions for your journey oh KFC there to mmmmm.

Need any heads up in things in the area for your travels let me know bud not many people can say try know Medway better than me thanks to a misspent youth.

Cheers. Won't be hanging around for food. Down and then straight back up to be home for around 11pm (ish).
Got my stops mapped out as Southwaite (breakfast) and Stafford (lunch) then same again for dinner at Stafford and then a snack and a coffee at Southwaite.

Is this from a Main Alfa dealership? If so, I'm sure they can transport the car to a much closer sister garage.

16 hour round trip......OUCH!, Only way I'll endure that journey would be if I went to pick up a super/hyper car.

No, not a main dealer. I'm actually looking forward to it a little now. I love driving and the journey home in a nicer motor than I went in will be good.

Just watch out for those safety/speed/cash cameras all over the place.
You don't want to drive all that way just for a DQ!
Be careful & enjoy,

Slime.

Slime has a good point there is a massive 50 average zone on the M25 at moment pretty much right where you'll be getting on it from the M1 and goes on for about 20 miles.

That's also because the 146/156 were the worst cars ever built by Alfa :p
H'mm.

Unfortunately, there's quite a bit of competition for that 'title'.

2000GTV still the most elegant (save the skinny tyres/wheels), so GT suits my eye too; brera the most stunning recent model imo though. Diesel somehow doesn't seem right, but I'm told it works well. Audi Diesel Convertible?

I had a brief but enjoyable experience with a 147 between a pair of Audi A6 Diesels when I was 'commuting' from Surrey to Edinburgh!

Enjoy the trips.

I'd hazard a guess around where the M1 meets it as that was murder last week and again around the dartford toll

It was about 2 miles into the average 50 zone that it got silly. Dartford crossing was ok, no delay at all. Got myself lost in Gillingham town centre though.
Will get a few pics taken once my brain has resumed normal service.

What a charming place to get lost!

Will look forward to seeing the evidence

Yeah, Gillingham TC looked a wonderful place...

The evidence...
