Driver prices . . . .

I've seen the old TM Burners down to £79 now. Ok they aren't changeable but they were/are a decent honest bit of kit that will still do a job. I haven't been into these changeable drivers as I'm too much of a tinkerer at the best of times and these would just be too much. Any bad shot has to be the club set up  :D :D

I agree, I'm still playing the 09 burner and fit £79 quid its definitely not to be sniffed at, mine rips!

Thanks for the comments Hawkeye and Aztec. I've just thought, bet his club will have a stiff shaft, being a younger guy.
I'll need a regular shaft for my older bones! :)

Will still speak to him though.

Golfmmad.

Might still be worth an ask. He might be able to swap out the shaft for a reg if he uses his shaft in the R11 (same fitting).

Good point Aztec, I'll ask the question. :)

I am buying the out going Nike VR driver for £100. Second hand, hit twice by a mate of mine who bought it for £150 a week ago.

Bargain.

I will be trying the R11 when it comes out, if it suits then I will prob get it.

The last driver I brought was 6 years ago so I don't see the issue in buying the latest driver out. If I chopped and changed every 2 years or so then I would wait a year.

Silvermere have the R9 Trispeed at £199 now.

I recently got the Nike SQ Machspeed Str8 Fit for £90. It was second hand but had only been used on the range by a pro who didn't get on with it. Definitely worth waiting a year or 2 til the prices drop.
