Really it's a bit cheeky that new drivers don't come with them. Like buying a phone and not getting a charger with it.
Since when do you not get a wrench with a new driver. Perhaps it's because at that price, the driver is only Ā£200 but it's the adjustment tool thats Ā£300
Both PXG drivers I have bought have come with the adjustment tool in the box in it's own padded bag.
Ok, I'm already upset, you don't need to lay it on any thicker.
Yup seriously, have been having words with the retailer. The amount club costs these days itās the least they can do to throw in the tool thatās physically required to adjust the club youāve bought.
TBH, I think both are just Torx 20 (or possibly 25) with a fixed torgue drive clutch.
Always got one with drivers.
Have you been fitted for it, or just taken a punt on the reuirqed head/shaft/grip combo?
Going for a full fitting in a couple of weeks am booked in at the South London centre.
I absolutely am my friend. I fancied the driver anyway but knowing I Get 20% off the brand new price as a āheroā makes it an even easier decision, works out around Ā£110 off the retail price.
I've given most of my PXG ones away, and the one I kept has failed now
...and Mizuno putter weights also.
