Taking the club back too much on the inside has been a long standing fault and is beginning to break me. Any good tips with or without the ball that can be done at home or on the range?

This is one of my bad swing tells. Its also been a long standing issue.
Its slowly going from my swing after lots of work.
I basically try to move the club head straight back and make sure my upper body and arms stay connected. But personally I don't like to go back too wide, or I feel I'm swinging too inside on the down swing to compensate.

Put something in the way so you don't hit it.... plastic garden chair or even your stand bag if you're at the range.... do SLOW swings so you don't hit anything.
