Dream job interview - advice needed!

All of the above, absolutely demonstrate that you've done some research . If you can and if it's relevant do some mystery shopping and get the "experience" from a user's/customer's perspective and feedback on this experience at interview. Make sure you interview them as much as they interview you. Remember that you're looking for a vehicle for your career,it's not just about them filling a vacancy. Ask them what differentiates them from their competitors ? Their management style ?

Additionally, are you aware of the interview/selection process ? If it's competency based you will need to undertake some preparation for your answers surrounding the competencies given on their person specification. Make sure your answers are relevant with work based examples if possible.

At the end of the interview, make sure you close for next steps. Ask their feedback on how they think the interview has gone, and what the process looks like from here on in. This gives you a final chance to overcome any objections they may still have about you and get commitment from their side as well. As others have said, this is a 2-way process.
 
One thing they may ask you is how did your last interview go and what you might improve on, so you might want to think about that. Is the next interview you and a panel or is it a group interview, do you have to do a presentation.
 
They are confirming today, I hope, what the next interview will be. My guess is that it will be an informal/formal presentation, plus meeting a few other people. I will certainly think about the last one and what areas I can improve on, plus have a think about the job now it has been detailed a bit more.
 
So just to follow up, I now have a third interview this Thursday 11th with the Chief Executive and the Head of HR. Hopefully this will be the last one as its proving tricky to find suitable excuses / time off from work!

I went for an interview for a brilliant job several years ago.....and got the job.
The boss turned out to be a bit of a barsteward.
In the end I couldn't wait to leave.

The moral of the story is......... if you don't get the job you might have had a lucky escape.
Hope you get the job though

Without wishing to raise false hope, this one sounds more like them providing the 'sign off' to the finalist/s selected rather than another typical interview
Might even be useful to at least be prepared to discuss questions about contracts etc (no point falling at the last hurdle)

My Father-in-Law used to do recruitment in banking. He has some tales to tell. He also has a very interesting interview strategy. I've not got the appendages required for most of his techniques, but I've used adapted forms of some of them in the past with good results.

I had an interview about 6 years ago for a job I needed, maybe not necessarily wanted. That's another story. Anyhow, on his advice, when I had my chance to ask questions I asked the following sorts of questions...
When I start who will I be working with? Is it possible to meet the team now?
It's funny how quickly they changed from 'if you start' to join my use of 'when'. They took me upstairs and I got to meet the chaps and chatted with them. Realised I'd fit in well. So it worked well for me also.
 
I am pleased to let you all know I was successful! I am now the Head of Fundraising for the PGA European Tour based at Wentworth. I am very very happy! Thanks for all your words of advice and support!
