doncaster airport closed still!!!!

Im due to go to spain for a week in the next few days flying from Doncaster. The lazy gets have posted on their website it will be closed until Sunday at least. FFS it's a bit of snow. Get it melted and sorted,they have all the gear required. What a country!

Hope they get the runway cleared and the airport operational again.
Bloody frustrating mate and I sympathise. There's absolutely bugger all you can do about it though unfortunately.

What's stopping them?Little snow forecast I think and not anywhere near as cold as the last 24 hours.

I hope so,even if you are delayed slightly at least you'll get away from this bloody weather.

Blimey! I did'nt know Doncaster had an airport. Im off to Lanzrote on the 20th from EMA so plenty of time for the weather to clear, hope Doncaster get their act together in time for your flight.

drawboy, as science boy says, the controllers have all phoned in sick in Spain. You might be able to take off from Donny but you won't be able to land

I only live a few miles from Doncaster airport and I will say that we have had it bad in this area. I haven't even been able to get the car out since Wednesday. It has just started a very slight thaw today though and no more is forecast so you should be ok.
