Does Anyone Use a Palm Based Grip? (Ala Nicklaus)

This seems a lot less popular these days (btw check Nicklaus's instructional videos to show how).

I gave it a try, and it is definately more powerful, but it does feel slightly restrictive (maybe a good thing).

its only diagonal across the palm in the left hand which I believe is quite normal, it's very much a fingers grip in the right hand.
