Does anyone know the layout of the holes at The Belfry?

Because I cannot buy a Skycaddie, Sonocaddie etc. I am reliant on Freecaddie for GPS course info.

The only downside is that if a member of a club hasn't mapped out the course, it's nigh impossible for a stranger to the course to place the markers on Google Earth. Simply because they don't know the route around the track.

For this reason I wonder if anyone knows the PGA National course and the Brabazon course well enough to be able to 'mark' out the distances through Freecaddie's website.

This won't cost anything to do.

I've got the course guides that I bought from the pro shop for both courses with distances etc on, they any good?

If you go on the Belfry website there are pictures of each of the holes.
Could you identify each hole from there and locate it on Google Earth?

if keefg can post the course guides (via photobucket or similar) or just list the details (length of each hole is all you really need) you can have endless hours of fun trying to plot the course round GEarth or Maps.

Of course with three tracks to choose from . . .
(though the Brabazon should be easier with its well known 10th and 18th)

Viscount. You've summed up the problem with having the course guides. Working out which hole is which and on which course from GE is really quite difficult, let alone trying to do it from photos!

Though of course it's a start.

We'll see if I get any further assistence first.

Nope I'm not gonna fall for it!

Having a GPS is a bit like having a gap wedge. Once you've got used to it, you kind of get used to it being around. But yes, a yardage book will be of some use.

I find it just helps, because when I am hitting the ball well I do need to now the exact distances. I would normally use a 5 iron for 160 ish yards inc roll out, but recently the darn thing has been going 190!

Midnight. What a decent chap you are. Hope all is well with you.

The trip is the GM trip in August. So a little way off yet!

Life is good mate, golf is up and down, have not been able to hit a decent iron shot for over a month, but still managing to go round courses mid 90's .
Today shot 90 at Wickham and again could not hit a iron.

As I said if you want to borrow it , let me know and I will get it to you sometime in July mate.
