Peanut butter on the shaft cleans the sticker right off . Something in the ingredients breaks down the residue
Hand sanitiser works well for getting sticky labels off any hard surfaces and doesn't waste peanut butter.

Ah I checked this morning.. I do indeed still have them on the legs..

Must take them off but now can't see the point until next summer

In which I'll forget again

And the cycle will continue

On the basis of your post I have just wandered out to the garage for a look at my Mizzy stand bag, it is definitely over a year old as I remember using it last winter, and sure enough, the poly protection is still there. Who would have thought.

I'll take it off, if I can ever be bothered.
