Just had this through the post today. Nothing I fancy in it, but what is with the use of the blonde female? Okay, so she's not unattractive at all, but come on, does the use of the 'girl next door' really help sell a £30 Jaxx stand bag?

My old manager once proved to me the value of using a nice female body to boost sales. Over a two week period he alternated between using a bubbly blonde and one with a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp, just selling stationery items. When the blonde was on sales were up between 40 and 60%. When I became a manager I used the same tactic with similar results. There must be something in it (probably hormones).
