Hi all,
I currently play with a set of much loved yet old (circa 1992) Mizuno tcd irons. On a good day I can just break 100 so I'm far worse than average , playing perhaps once every 4 weeks or so, although I ADORE the game and am hooked (excuse the pun) big-time on it.
The irons I know, aren't exactly leading-edge technology in this day and age, and I know that there are a million sets that would give me a helping-hand with my game, but finances and all that malarkey come into it (and the fact I love how mine look). I am debating whether to spend some cash on a new set of grips (thinking of the Golf Pride New Decade Midsize in Red or Blue) in the hope that mentally, this will help me concentrate on practising more and playing a little better. Am I deluding myself or do you think that shiny new kit (in whatever form that takes), helps mentally with your game?
All responses gratefully received.
Cheers,
Ian
