Did anyone get any bargains ?

Yes, a pair of Puma trainers, normally sold for £45, down to £21 delivered. I bought a pair earlier in the summer, they are ridiculously comfy, and I wanted another pair the same, in a different colour. I have been following them for a while so I know they were a genuine bargain.

If you hadn't already decided to buy something and had the full amount of money ready to buy it, then you haven't got a bargain when the price is reduced.

There's some miserable folk in this thread

If anyone got something cheaper than they normally would - well done.

@Lord Tyrion be interested to know the Puma trainers you went for and recomendation on sizing.

Got a bracket to hang the TV on the wall and a few components for a reduced price.... that's about it!

Not really. Probably should have done some Christmas shopping but I didn't bother. I did buy three boxes of Vice balls for next year in their sale. That was about it.

I don't run incidentally, they are just for general use. The 'softride' element of the shoe is just lovely, it's like walking with pillows on your feet 😊. I have issues with shoes rubbing the little toe on my right foot and the mesh type of trainer is just brilliant for resolving this. There are other models with 'softride' as the style. I think any would be as good.

I am somewhere between an 8.5 - 9 and I go for a 9 in these. They fit fine, they are not loose and there is room at the toe end. I'd say they are a pretty fair sizing.

There is currently an extra 30% off using the code they show on the site, add on £3.99 for delivery, unless you buy other things and get over the threshold.

And yes, some people seem to revel in being miserable 🤷‍♀️

Just over a week ago my wife (ie I paid) bought a pricey new dress from White Stuff for a big Xmas do. This weekend she noticed they had an 'everything' sale on so went back on Monday and was given 25%.

Yea, loads actually as we had a lot of stuff to buy that we'd been waiting for/knew we'd need some stuff for Christmas/birthday gifts;
- Some Lego for my lad's birthday/christmas (same day!) - which we were buying anyway, but got loads of freebie sets and bonus points from Lego. Oh and £22 cashback from Topcashback on top of that :)
- Nintendo Switch bundle that was the cheapest I've seen it.
- New bed for the lad that was £150 off the price it was a few weeks ago. (plus mattresses to go with it (it's a bunk bed type affair so needed THREE singles) from Argos - all with 20% off plus decent wedge of Cashback from Topcashback)
- Bag for my sister for christmas which was 40% less
- Locket for my mum which was reduced by 50%

Earned around £50 in cashback overall in the last few days on top of BF savings we've made. Which takes the total up to £650 cash back earned on purchases this year through Topcashback...always thought it was a faff to use the cashback sites, but if you use them wisely and buy when they have the special offers on, you can really rack up some decent savings/money back.

I got 2 dozen Seed wrong uns that seem perfect.

Bushnell v5 pro laser for £185. Didn’t really need it but you know how it is.

It really was a bargain as my wife paid for it.

My point was it is only a bargain if you actually intended to buy it before the sales. It may be cheaper than usual if you get it in the sales but a true bargain saves you money, not just spending less.
