Can someone explain the relevance of this .. why not just stay at home or play golf instead?
I guess it's making a statement of sorts... although with the polling station being open to 10 id play golf and then vote on the way home. Can someone explain the relevance of this .. why not just stay at home or play golf instead?
Because it isn't.If you choose not to decide you've still made a choice and shown it.
Why isn't it mandatory to votes even if you spoil the paper or don't mark it at all..??
When they announce results they usually say there were X amount of spoiled ballots...But they don’t count them do they? I mean it’s like spoiled fruit, Chuck it in the bin and forget about it.
Hence a waste of time
Every ballot paper issued has to be accounted for, so as Imurg says, they are counted and recorded as a spoilt paper. But they don’t count them do they? I mean it’s like spoiled fruit, Chuck it in the bin and forget about it.
Hence a waste of time
Did they publish them, can I find them for my area ?When they announce results they usually say there were X amount of spoiled ballots...
So only local paper, I will have a lookHad a bit of a dig...only found the number here from the local paper who report 279 in Aylesbury.
I disagree. Again perhaps its a deliberate action because they don't agree wholeheartidly with one side, or deliberately spoilt paper.spolit papers i understand, its when they say a voter has voted for more than one person. How stupid are these people.
Spoilt papers can also have no marks, marks other than a single X, any other written symbol, a tick instead the X and ambiguous marks.spolit papers i understand, its when they say a voter has voted for more than one person. How stupid are these people.
And why is that then ?A spoilt paper indicates someone with a massive ego to me
