Hi all just noticed a Dent In Hybrid Graphite Shaft its about 2- 3 down the shaft from the club head its not a massive dent but now that Ive seen it its noticeable.
Sorry for No pics of it , camera is having a fit right now and not working.

Will this effect anything? I have no idea

Cheers

Are you sure it's a dent? I have had trouble with my hybrids rubbing on the dividers on my old bag and wearing a small dip on the shaft. I wrapped some electrical insulating tape around the shaft to take the wear after discovering that.

It could be yes a dip from rubbing on the shaft to much from the bag but still its very noticeable and now Ive got it into my head that its not going to be the same.
Did you notice any change?

I have not noticed any change in the club. As long as it is just the coating that is damaged and no fibres showing all should be good.
I noticed mine 18 months ago and am still playing with the same clubs (3 were the same). Just cosmetic.

Its not just cosmetic its alot more then just the paint or coating the actual shaft as sunk in or dipped its very obvious , Ive put some tape over it for now and done the same to a few other woods just in case, not sure what to do

Either replace the shaft or the club. It's in your head now and you won't get rid of it.

Sounds like a bit of bag rub but shouldn't cause any noticeable difference except physiological.

I've just noticed there's a groove about 1mm deep on my driver shaft. Exactly where it rubs on my supposedly carbon friendly bag :(. .
I'll have to tell H.I.D that I really need a new bag and driver :D

Ive had a dip in my 3 wood shaft for about 6 years. Never made any difference at all.

Was caused from rubbing on bag. Not tucking head cover down properly. It'll be fine.
