Dear Santa

I'll gratefully unwrap Carly Booth from my golf locker than you very much. Other than that, I've my eyes on a pair of myjoys (miss my mum as that was her stock default present each year) and HID starting to get twitchy with my growing numbers

Nothing. If I chose anything it would just be a doz balls, though won't need them for a few months anyway.

After yesterdays round, a repeatable swing. More realistically, Jennifer Anniston. Yes, I have more chance of a night with her than getting a consistent golf swing :D

I've asked for a sesh at Golf Principles to see if what I've got is good for me or whether we can eek some more distance out of the woods.

Hoping to get a push trolley for Christmas, dropped a few hints about the Motocaddy S1, think it's currently around £99.

Should be perfect for what I'm after.

I'm looking for a 4/3 wood to replace the 5 wood currently in the bag, M1/2 or a 917 are top of the list

My golf wishlist is growing by the second;

Mizuno MP5 irons
New wedges (can't have old ones with new irons surely!)
New 3 iron (the shaft wouldn't match the new irons which obviously won't do!)

If I'm at that I may as well throw an M1 driver in to the mix.

I am pretty sure this will all need to be self funded as the Santa's in my family refuse to get involved in my constant need for new clubs.

I have however been throwing hits left right and centre about the Star Wars Taylor Made gear. Stormtrooper putter cover is exactly what my putter needs. Hopefully they listen properly so I don't get lumbered with a C3P0 one. That's not the droid I'm looking for.

A man with taste.

I'm late to the party with Jen. Never got her in my youth but age is changing my opinion. I'm sure she will forgive me.

That is a very full list. I'm like most of the other posters on here. I could just not trust my wife to get the right thing so it is safer to just buy golf gear myself. Well done if you can get any of the above and it is the right stuff.

She is about 15 years older than me and still looks better than any girl my age I come across!

Chances of my list being bought from are slim, chances of purchases being right are even less likely. Precisely why I am finishing early today and skipping my way to the shop myself.

Nice weather over the holidays, so that I can get a few nice rounds in, would be a real treat. Equipmentwise I am pretty good at the moment, not lacking anything that has to go on the wishlist. I think I will treat myself to a new cartbag at some point, but that can wait till the winter season is over.

Tempted by a GPS watch from my wife.

Is there a forum favourite?

Garmin S series. Take your pick depending on how much info you want on there. I have an S1 and it is fine for me but having details of hazards etc would be an improvement to be fair. Probably an S2 or S3 depending on the price.

Agree with the S1, if you just need the basic information then this is the one to get.

A bucket full of will power, I've told everyone I'm on a diet AFTER New Years Day dinner. I'll be stopping drinking as well to try and help drop the weight.
Of course, if Santa doesn't oblige, I'll just trough my way though 2017.
