Wont be joining cobtree!!!! Reason being ! .... you cant pay by DD i have to front the 799 annual fee for a 7 day pass!
So its out of the question ! And i was so looking forward to that as well!! Nevermind i'll have to pull something else out the bag!

I dont understand some clubs, no matter how buoyant their finances, rejecting members because they wish to pay DD is silly and far from good business sense to me.You can learn about the stability of members from DD contributions, it also provides turnover and little lost if the player leaves or stops payment, just kick em out and replace them. When you have members pay up front and have to leave for various reasons it can sometimes be a bind recouping money for the individual and the club.

I don't think many (most/some, certainly mine) clubs lose out at all as your club fees are binding for the 12 months -you are contracted to pay the lot.
