I was writing that tongue in cheek, you are correct it was closed for months last year and at the start of this year also. For me personally I really like Nizels because i use the gym, pool and classes more than i play golf.

From memory, the Old Course at Dale Hill is very much up and down fairways on the front 9 but then gets a lot tighter and more interesting. The Woosnam is a typical newer course similar in many ways I suppose to Chart Hills and East Sussex National. It's OK, plays long and can be a bit of a slog particularly during a wet spell. It's also got a few "silly" holes.
Just my opinion and others may well disagree.
