Went for my fitting today with Scott Gourlay in Edinburgh.
During fitting we used 6 iron.
First thing he noticed is that I hit the ball with my current irons relatively straight with a slight fade with very high ball flight. Approx 22.0 on the trackman, with approx 165 carry and just over 170 roll. He advised that in order to get more distance we need to get the ball to go in a smooth flight under 20.0 on the trackman. We went through various shafts and he told me, some shafts he thought would help with the high flight were having the opposite effect. Until we hit the Kbs stiff c-taper lite. Averaged 17.6 on the trackman, with approx 170 carry and 175 -180 roll.
I was heaven with the results and placed an order. Clubs head chosen was rbz tour. They will be ready in 10-14 days.
