Course Still Closed!

Well the snow finally disappeared from home on Sunday with a good thaw. Not so at Blairgowerie. I went up for lunch today and also to see how the courses had faired with the snow and ice.
I could not believe what I saw

Not looking good for the weekend so it'll probably be Links golf again!

I'd of thought they'd of cleared the greens of snow there Clive or have they and thats just frost on the 18th?

I take it you didn't renew at Lynedoch? I've not been up there but assume it's a similar picture.

I wish it was just frost. It is solid ice a couple of inches thick on all three courses.
I didn't renew Murrayshall this year. I could play it cheaper with the promotions they offer non members!

Many thanks for the kind offer. I'm playing Gullane this Sunday and Scotscraig next weekend. Hopefully by then things will be back to normal, if not I'm off to Florida in the middle of February.

We're just soaking wet at the moment.
Only 9 holes open, the back 9 is very soggy. There's a 50 yard puddle just short of the 18th green. I'd have thought the GReenkeepers would have been trying to mop it away or at least do something but they were lopping trees around a distant part of the course.
