Although you don't get loads of opens on Mondays, see whats on golf empire, and if your a senior, you may get a few more options on the Monday.

See if any twilight deals also, as you may get a 2.00/3.00 twilight in at a very good course.

Get yourself a county card and consider playing one of the Surrey courses with the card

If you have no probs going to the distance to Hayling then I would look at places like - Wesr Hill , Liphook , Hindhead , Blackmoor , Hankley Common all which must be under £100 - then there is Berkshire , Walton Heath etc

It's problem not in the same bracket as others, but Tadmarton Heath in Banbury. Close, in a list of top 100 English courses, can probably do a day rate with a nice lunch for well below £100.

I have just been offered a 4ball at forest of arden on the arden course for £140 which seems a bargain!
