We were closed Monday/Tuesday, back 9 was closed till thursday pm...

No that feeling had it last week course was closed from fri through to tues. It is open today but it's pouring down for change!!

Just had an email from the club to say our course is closed and todays round of the Championship Qualifying has been cancelled. Hopefully tomorrow will still go ahead and we get the chance to have an 18 hole qualifying for the Championship.

Plenty of rain and wind this past couple of days in Bangor though course is open today, tee off at ten, wet gear is packed as muchthe forecast says rain again.

Hahahahaha, welcome to a typical Scottish Summer!!! Raining and only 25 mph winds here today.
Since I'm golfing tomorrow all day in a team match I'm having a family day. We're just heading off to the beach at West Kilbride, fully kitted out in wellies and waterproofs with the new stunt kites that arrives yesterday! Bought 3, one each for my kids and one for the biggest kid - ME!!!!
We might even find a cafe for lunch.

Finals day at my club.... I've been hoping it'd be postponed to be honest but school of thought seems to be that since there's only 6 matches they'll get us round somehow.... Just hope it's not too bad up there!

I've bought countless kites and can't get the blasted things up in the air. Whats the knack? Oh, I'm not playing golf coz I'm at work. Thank god. And got a big family day on tomorrow. Loadsa wine and a big sunday dinner. Roast lamb! Do your worst!
club championship first round today- they have the course Open, its torrential rain, course has massive puddles everywhere and its freezing. I can't face 4.5 hrs getting very cold and wet and putting thru casual water=lottery
