Couple of shiney wedge upgrades

I can guarantee that once you hit the y and k grind miuras, you will never go back.

The k grind is just simply something else!

And I can guarantee you will :D

I tried a few Miuras' (..... And Vega's) about the turn of last year.

Being honest I couldn't tell the difference between them (at circa£200/club) and my MP-T10's (Circa £80/club).

Sorry.

Sorry.

Don't know where you get £200 from???

And you may be a wee bit blinkered towards Mizuno, you probably have Mizuno pyjamas or a onesie...

And before you even picked up a Miura or a Vega, I bet you were determined for it not to feel better.

Possibly ?? Probably ??

Im always dubious when ANY person, NOT getting paid, has 12 / 13 / 14 Clubs of same brand
Seems a decision was already made, and probably other brands discounted without even trying

Each to their own though.................

Perhaps over egged the price slightly, but I bet they are still double the price of the more commonly used ones.

Funny thing is I tried the Miura and Vega before I tried the Mizuno.

I decided, as they felt pretty much the same and gave the similar results, why pay double for a wedge when the feel and results are the same.

I'm not a tour player. I don't hit enough balls to determine specific differences between wedges, nor did I use a Trackman or Flightscope to check peak height and spin rates, carry distance etc. I hit a good number of balls with each wedge and compared how they felt, what flight I got and how the ball reacted on landing. Not what it said on the back of the head!

Point being, I can get everything from the Mizuno that I could the Miuras/Vegas, so why pay more for the same thing?

I've said before, on numerous threads. Golf is a game of confidence. If Mizuno, Miura, Dunlop gives you the confidence to play well, that's all that matters.

I haven't once said one its better than the other. Only one is more suited to me than the other.

Deano i see you got your CB-501's :) hahaha Now stay away from the new Miura driver. Please don't try it, seriously stay away, you will buy it. :)

That's dependent on me reaching my handicap target

I want one now though :D

The trick is pay a lot less for them on ebay! I wouldn't pay the £170 Ive seen Vegas sell for at AG or online for a wedge but someone has it to spend fair play to them, for all I know it won't suit me and a Vokey wouldve done the trick, but its not big money to find out and to me the heat of battle is where I want to test it over a protracted period. As you say each to their own, Im all for try before you buy but to me the resale value of the Vega means its free anyway and I get to try it for as long as I want in many different situations.

Have you spent that money yet?! We need more shineys up here! :)
