Cordless Drill Driver.

A mate just helped me replace some decking. I have the DeWalt combi drill mentioned at the top which I was using with a drill bit to take the old screws out. My mate had one of these (see below), and it was absolutely awesome. Immediately looked to buy one as it was different gravy to the combi drill but they were approx £145, so I left it. He's a professional builder, and a week later he decided to replace his as they were 18 months old, turned up at my door and gave me the old ones FOC.

Thoroughly recommend this for any type of electric screw work, and B&Q selling off for £40 if still available, super bargain.

I've got tyre inflator, two drills (one drill/driver, one hammer), impact driver, strimmer, lawn mower, chainsaw, hand held vac, reciprocating saw, hedge trimmer, circular saw.....
Trouble is, Ryobi tools are like Pokemon cards. Once you start collecting...........

I have other cordless stuff too but truth be told, I wish it was all Ryobi. My shed has too many different chargers in a drawer.

Best bargain of the lot has to be the lawnmower I have just purchased. Picked it up from Homebase who have some crazy deals on Ryobi at the moment.
Got it for just over £125.00 which included the charger and 1 x 5.0ah battery.
If you look on ebay, the price of a charger and genuine Ryobi 5.0ah battery alone is over £80.00.
That makes the actual lawnmower about £45.00!!!
The lawnmower itself is pretty good. It will struggle a bit on longer, damp grass. But as long as you keep on top of it, it cuts perfectly. It's very (very) light and a doddle to use without a dangerous flex trailing back to the house.
We've got two new sheds on the way. One of them is going to have it's own, dedicated Ryobi shelf...
