One of my cars has no built in GPS, and the old TomTom that I have needs an update. Was looking into costs re: new map update vs new GPS unit vs phone app. According to a number of reviews, the CoPilot GPS comes out high on a couple of lists. Wondered if anyone has used this, and if so, any good?

Yep, I used it on an older car that didn't have sat nav and I didn't want to invest in a unit specifically designed for the job when I could use the app for a fraction of the price. Worked well and never had any issues so wouldn't have a problem recommending it.

I've used it and in my field of work many large post, parcels and logistic companies use it. The main benefit to them is being able to integrate it with their line of business application.

You won't have a problem at all with CP it's a good product from a reputable brand.

It's horses for courses but I am happy nowadays to use maps on Iphone despite its limitations.
