It's one of the reasons Smiffy decided he'd had enough.

I already have 3 golf breaks and a long weekend in Czech in my diary as well as a 5 day break with Mrs f-t, and I've got an invite to Minchinhampton to fit in

In which case I’d have sacked it off a long time ago.

Cooden employed a new person to take over society events to take pressure off the secretary's office.
From that day, things went totally to pot.
When the girls in the office were doing it, emails were responded to the same day, things ran smoothly.
This new person is absolutely useless, always too busy to respond. I don't know why, it's hardly Wentworth or Woburn down there, where they are dealing with loads of corporate events or society days every day of the week.
I love the course, but the infrastructure is lousy, and that's being kind.
