Consecutive Days Playing

Just out of curiosity. What's the most consecutive days you've played 18 holes.

I played 3 days in a row a month ago and looks like I might do 4 this week as the GF has some plans of her own .

Haven't been on a golfing hol yet. So I expect most of you guys have done 7 days at least.

And how good\bad were you playing towards the end of the run ?

pretty sure i've played at least 10 days in a row when i had some leave and the missus was working , i played all week and the weekend comps and all the next week'ish from memory.

cant remember how i played but i used to be pretty consistent back in the day

Finished University and worked in my golf club from June to Mid-August. Finished at 3.00pm and always had at least 9 holes afterwards, competitions at weekends. Wife and 2 kids later, those simple and satisfying days are long gone....

I play everyday so Hmmmm since I started about 3 years ago.

When I was out of work a few years back it was 7 days a week for about 6 weeks. Not actually that great for your game as you become stale

Nope dont bunk off just get to the golf course asap unless I have a free after noon which is most because I have done all my work.

last december i played 12 rounds (11 times 18, once 27 holes) in 13 days (one day rained out)

Probs about 5 when I was 14 but stopped playing soon afterwards and recent probs about 3 times in a row.

I played everyday for over 2 years when I first started some 15 years ago. Oddly I can't remember it snowing so I'm guessing the course must have been closed at some stage through the Winter.

At the moment 4 days in a row would be considered monumentous, especially if I'm carrying. Would probably need a 48hour sleep after

When I was a young chap, I played 9 holes on a tue evening, practiced on the wednesday evening, played 36 holes on the thurs, played 9 holes Fri night (almost dark) then 18 holes comp on sat followed by 36 holes on the sun comp.

If I did that now I would need an ambulance I recon.

5 days on a Spain trip. Hit the wall on day 5 - too much booze, not enough sleep, wanted to go home.

I did an hour (at least) every day for the whole Easter holidays (years ago) on short game.....it got better......

If I played every day for ages, I'm sure I'd get really bad quite quickly......

When I have the time, I'll do half practice and half playing every day.

I played four days in a row a couple of weeks ago and got worse as it went on. I had 38pts in the Wednesday stableford, next day won 1st round knockout on the 1st extra hole, next day hit 94 on the 2010 with HTL and on the last day hit 24pts in the monthly stableford.

I don't know why it went like that but that's the way this game goes, just got to get back out and have another go I guess.

I played 1 round a day for 3 days at forest pines last month and it certainly took its toll on me especially on the sunday, although i think the 8 pints of lager and 5 large gins saturday night was to blame for that
